Fusion One Class

A Beginner –Stash Buster Class

The Fusion Quilting pattern used in this class is a mash up of various hand stitching techniques combined to simultaneously piece, quilt, and finish a lap blanket.  Most of our class time will be spent hand stitching in concentric rectangles from the outside border-edge to the center of the quilt, and once we reach the center, our lap blanket will be complete.

In addition, throughout our class time together, we will explore additional embellishment options and techniques from several cultures like Siddi Kawandi, Japanese Sashiko, Indian Kantha, Slow-stitching, Big-stitching, Soul-stitching and Dirty Quilting.

This class is structured for a beginner sewist/quilter and does not use a sewing machine.  The pattern encourages you to explore your fabric stash to design and create a unique lap quilt.

Class Fee is $55.00, and includes a pattern & some supplies that will be available on the day of class.

Class Cancellation Policy

You must preregister and prepay for all classes to reserve your space.

If you are unable to come to the class a refund will be given if you cancel up to 30 days prior. Cancelations done 7-30 days prior will be issued a store credit.
