New, New, New - Tilda, Cork and more!

About Us

I started sewing in 2012 when my daughter needed patches sewn on her Girl Scout uniform.  That first sewing machine got me hooked!  I started sewing anything and everything I could think of and using You Tube for help.

It wasn’t long before I started quilting, but I was frustrated because I could not find the fabrics I loved in local quilt shops, I always had to order them.  I wanted to really get a sense of the colors and textures of fabrics.

So, in 2018, along with my husband, Darrell or Mr. Threaded Lines as he is known for now, we opened up a small shop on the 3rd floor of a medical building to start our little fabric haven in Magnolia, TX (just north of Houston). Now we are in a small warehouse in the quaint little town of Montgomery, TX!

Room with sparing shelves and fabric.
We started with Tula Pink’s All Stars Collection and Essex Linen Yarn-Dyed Wovens as well as a few Art Gallery prints.  It only took up one wall!  Each month, we grew a little more and a little more.  After helping sponsor our local Quilt Show in Magnolia with the Historical Society, more and more quilters found out about us!  They loved our selection of fabrics from Free Spirit, Andover Fabrics and designers like Alison Glass, Tula Pink and Libs Elliott.

When Covid hit, we thought we might lose our little shop, but with the support of the community, we became a hub for fabric.  We also started Live Facebook Shows, so everyone could see fabrics up close and personal without leaving their home!  Both Mr. Threaded Lines and I truly love these Live events – we get to have fun and share our passion in a way we never thought possible.

Recently, we have started offering Sew-Alongs and are venturing into video tutorials and possibly classes!  Throughout it all though, we are here for you – constantly listening to your input – like carrying bag making supplies – hardware, cork and Noodlehead patterns,  Because your passion is ours as well!
