From the beginning of July to the end of August, we hope you'll join us to create a community quilt based on the Piece of My Heart quilt block, which will be auctioned off at the beginning of December in our Sample Sale. All proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.
To participate in the Community Quilt:
- Download the FREE Piece of My Heart quilt block. It will automatically apply the discount once you check out. Get it here: Piece of My Heart Quilt Block.
- Choose your background colors. We are sorting the blocks into 3 categories based on the background: whites/creams, greys, and blacks.
- Choose 3 coordinating colors for the main design (here's your chance to get creative!).
- Sew and have fun! Put your heart into it!
- Upload a photo of your block to one of the following places:
- The Sewing Room Facebook group
- In the comments of the Mischief Monday post on the Threaded Lines Facebook Page.
- email it to socialmedia@threadedlines.com - Send the block to us to use in the community quilt! Ship it to 21372 Shannon Circle, Unit C, Montgomery, TX 77316, or if you're nearby, drop it off to us.
All blocks will be due August 26th, but we'll start accepting blocks as soon as you want to make them!
This community project is very meaningful to me in particular, as I, my mother, and my husband's father have all experienced heart problems over the years. I hope you will all join us at Threaded Lines in creating this wonderful quilt for charity!
