Melody Memory Bear Class

Come make a memory bear with us on Friday, December 5 from 10am to 5pm. You can use clothing from a loved one, fabric from your stash, or new fabric from the shop. Makes a great Christmas gift! 

Show up to class with the “homework” completed, and we’ll spend the day assembling your bear pieces. The goal is for everyone to leave with a completed bear. The homework takes about 3 hours and involves selecting your fabrics, cutting out template pieces from the pattern, lining the back of your fabrics with Pellon sf101, and cutting out your bear pieces. For your first bear, I recommend keeping your design simple. See pics from pdf for samples ranging from simple to more advanced. The pdf also includes more detailed instructions and a supply list. 

You need the pattern from Funky Friends Factory called Melody Memory Bear. 

I’ll bring sample pieces of almost each step to the class so you can see what each step should look like. I’ve made over 100 bears and am a retired teacher. I offer lots of friendly encouragement.
