Detour takes you on a playful twist with bold strips, flying geese, and snowball corners that come together in a clever, modern design.  Perfectly sized as a mug rug (about 6" x 9"), this quick project makes a great afternoon sew - with just enough challenge to keep it interesting.

Designed by Jennifer Armentrout of Threaded Lines for the September 2025 Mystery Sew Along, Detour is a fast, fun, and slightly suspicious little block that looks like it means something...but probably doesn't.

This 6" x 9 " block features flying geese, and snowball corners, and layout choices that may or may not lead you anywhere helpful.  Perfect as a mug rug, mini quilt, or conversation-starting corner block.
