Funky Faces Class with Pattie

A full day workshop where you were learn to design and create your own unique piece!

What will your face look like?  Maybe a favorite hobby? Color? Flower?  Maybe features of someone you know!  The possibilities are endless!  Use samples as a jumping off point for ideas and to help you think of fabric choices.

During workshop you will:

-design your face (using templates provided in class)

-fuse fabrics and start assembly

-receive instructions on how to quilt it, and what thread to choose.

-see a demo on different methods to add shading.

Pattie Gardebled is a lifelong sewing enthusiast and artist who in the past 3 years has combined the two into making art quilts.  Her piece “Unknown Flightpath” traveled in the Monarch Cherrywood challenge.  In November  2024 “Mom’s Cottage Quilt” hung in the juried selection of the International  Quilt Festival in Houston.  She lives in Spring, Texas.
