Red, White and Blue Celebration

On June 29th from 10 am to 3 pm, Threaded Lines is having a Red, White and Blue Celebration!

A portion of our proceeds from this day will go directly to Boots for Troops – a wonderful organization that sends personalized treat boxes to troops that include a MUCH needed pair of combat boots. They also provide travel assistance for troops who cannot afford to go home to their family during the holidays and leave times.

It is our extreme pleasure to support Boots For Troops!

For those that can join us in person, bring a full size personal care item or a package of Beef Jerky, Wet Wipes or Mixed Nuts to donate to Boots For Troops and receive a 40% discount off of one item in our store.

For our on-line shoppers, we will offer FREE shipping on that day and another special treat you will have to come see on the 29th!

If you ended up here through a Facebook/Instagram/other website post, take a look around our site – we have lots of fabrics and notions, cork, wool and even some free patterns.

Thank you for visiting us and I look forward to seeing on the 29th!

    Please let me know the pattern you used and fabric quantities you used as in the block you had on Facebook. I would like to place an order for those things from your shop. Thank you!

      Thank you so much for asking! The pattern is called Stars and Stripes by Camilla Roskelly and it is located in the Red, White and Blue tab as well as in the patterns tab.

      As for the fabric I used, I used all Star and Stripes Gathering by Moda for the Flags.
      Here are the fabric requirements:
      * 8 red fat quarters – I used a variety, some 2 times (I do sell fat quarters on-line)
      * 5 blue fat quarters – I also used a variety here
      * 1-1/4 yards white fabric – I used Starry Sky Blue on Ivory
      * 2 yards aqua sashing fabric – I used Eloise’s Garden Coral Gingham rather than aqua
      * 5/8 yard binding fabric – I used Eloise’s Garden Blue Gingham (also on the backing)
      * 3.5 yards backing fabric –
      * 64” x 80” cotton batting

      The link to the pattern and Star and Stripe Gathering Fabrics is here.

      The Link to Eloise’s Garden is here.

      Your sashing and backing could be anything you like though – it is just what I am going to use. I plan on finishing up this weekend so you can see.

      Let me know if you have any questions and I hope this helped you!
